I notice the cover photo is not as sharp and crisp as the actual photo used to select from.16 votes
Since the cover photo takes up the whole screen, we recommend using photos that’s at least 3500px on the width to avoid the image being stretched to fit. If your original image is hi-res and you are still experiencing this issue, let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we’ll look into it for you!
It's so silly in this day and age to not have a PROOF watermark option available to apply to photos, and have this turned off when a client buys an image. You suggest that we manually apply it to our uploads? Double the work, really?
With this, you got me now. Without it, you'll likely never get me.235 votes
You now have the ability to place a custom watermark on display images for your collections.

Wondering if there was a way to send automated email gallery expiration reminders AND the expiration date in the initial email to client. Album Exposure has a similar setup where on the back end you select the number of days from originally sent email and it will send a reminder. (i.e. 25 days out from original email)
This way we wouldn't have to be reminding our clients over, and over again. "Hello ___, your gallery is about to expire, forever...download/purchase that ish. STAT."863 votes
You can now set up automated collection expiry reminder emails to remind your clients that their gallery is about to expire. You can schedule multiple reminders, personalize the email content, and send to individual clients as well as gallery visitors.
My clients have expressed dissatisfaction about having to enter credit card details when their cart balance is $0.00. I provide a certain number of images in my packages and give my clients a coupon code for the value of that number of images. Many clients buy more, but some do not - those clients don't feel comfortable entering payment details for no charge.201 votes
Update: Your clients are no longer required to enter a credit card during the checkout for $0 order using a coupon.
A customizable mobile app with studio branding, something like what sticky albums is would be great. Also including share features so they don't screenshot making the shared images look really bad.7 votes
We have made some changes to the mobile experience and you are now able to Purchase, Favorite, Share as well as Download individual images (if allowed) all on the mobile. The experience is also touch screen optimized. Clients also have the ability to Save to Home Screen for easier access in the future, it acts as a mobile web app. Thanks for all your patience and please go and have a look! We’d love your feedback.
I would like to enable my clients to download the complete set of images in a collection in both high-resolution and web-resolution. My release typically includes the clause that high-resolution images (without my watermark) are for sending to a print shop or archiving, and that the low-resolution images (with my watermark) are for sharing to social media. Since the client may not know which images they intend to print, and which they intend to share (or which they intend to do both with), I'd like to give them two sets of images, and the ability to do with them what they will at a later date.
Here's a use case: I'm seeing clients and acquaintances who are celebrating anniversaries now. Many brides like to mark the occasion with updating their FB cover or profile image with something from their wedding. Because I usually only keep their images online for about 60-90 days after their event, they may not have access to the web-resolution images they wish to use for sharing online. If they had the ability to download the web-res images along with the high-res images, they would have this set to choose from to mark their special occasions, and not worry about violating the terms of our contract (or me worrying that my high-res images will be disseminated over the interwebs).

This is already possible with the current set up – if you set the max download size to High Resolution, clients will be able to download both Web Size and High Resolution on the download page. If you set it to Original, they will be able to download Web Size, High Resolution and Original for the collection. Hope this helps! :)
Please add an all black background option rather than the all white.36 votes
I am located in Norway and we use NOK not USD. Is it possible to be able to change the currency?6 votes
We’ve just added the ability to support Pound Sterling and the Euro!
I will keep you updated when Stripe is available in Norway.
I provide my clients with 2 sets of files. I watermark my low res files so when the client posts to Facebook they have my branding on them and also so the client doesn't accidentally try to print the file. The high res files aren't watermarked so the client can print them.
Is this something that could ever be implemented?1 vote
This is already possible – Watermark only applied to web size and display images – High res and original downloads will not have watermarks on them.
Please email us at email@example.com if you have any questions regarding the set up!
It would be great if they click on buy photo and have the option to purchase a digital download of the image. They would be charged for each image they download. Along with that to be able restrict the resolution or megapixels they able to download. I like to sell high res and web ready files for different prices.660 votes
I would love to be able to see who downloads images when it is also set to individual download, having the email addresses could be helpful in the event a client needs help, etc30 votes
You can now view Single Photo Download tracking under Download Activities.

The filename is now shown under the photo after you enlarge the photo.
Hey! My friend Holly Vaughan turned me on to you guys. I'm so excited about this new site! Seriously!!! Us photographers need a place to be able to sell prints *and* allow for digital downloading with ease. So, THANK YOU!!
I just wanted to suggest the option to change background colors. If I could color the site to match my branding, the site would be even better. :)
Thank you!148 votes
I would love to have the option to change the image display size in the gallery. I find that if you only have a few images, they feel really small compared to the beautiful cover page.
Hi Guys !
We are a team of 6 photographers with a lot of photographers friends, we use and love your system.
The only thing that would make pixieset the best is the size of the images in the gallery, the thumbnails are small, in some cases this is great, in other cases you cant appreciate the quality of the picture without clicking on it.
Pass size for us in some cases is just perfect !
Please make it bigger !106 votes
Add a button that flips the background from white to black when viewing a single large image (or even when looking at thumbnail view).
The font would reverse to white at the top so everything would still be viewable.2 votes
I would like the option to make 'dark' and 'horizontal' the DEFAULT design options in my galleries, please!1 vote
You can do this by creating a Collection Default!
While i love the simplicity of Pixieset i would like to have the ability to change the layout of the gallery. At present the images just slot together in a "best fit" kind of way which sometimes looks messy and if you have images of different orientation be it Landscape or Portrait it doesnt look astehtically pleasing.
What i think would be better is to have different gallery views such as having thumbnails etc55 votes
We have introduced a new design tab with a horizontal layout option, dark themes and more. Learn more: http://pixieset.tumblr.com/post/152284533005/new-design-options-crafted-to-impress
I sell a lot of deep matte prints from ProDPI, but when those are mixed in the same order as regular prints, it wants to lab fulfill the regular prints, while I self-fulfill the others. I'd love to be able to have the option to move from lab-fulfill to self-fulfill so my clients don't get two separate packages of their prints!0 votes
You can have self-fulfillment products in lab-fulfillment price sheets: http://support.pixieset.com/knowledgebase/articles/532591-how-do-i-offer-both-lab-and-self-fulfilled-items
Deep Matte prints are also available through both WHCC and ProDPI. Simply add them to your spreadsheet by clicking on + Add Products > Prints > Deep Matte.
The Deep Matte prints at ProDPI are beyond dreamy. Would love if I could just set this as the default print for everyone and not the regular print that is now. THANKS36 votes
